Chilean screenwriter and director who holds an MFA in Film from Columbia University and is a part of the BAFTA Newcomers Program.

Her first fiction short film, “ON MY OWN” (2019), premiered at the Valdivia International Film Festival in 2018 and was later presented at the Havana and Brussels Short Film Festivals. It also won the Directors Guild of America (DGA) Jury Award in the Latino Student Film Competition category in 2020.

Her second short film, “LA VIRGEN, LA VIEJA, EL VIAJE” (2020), premiered at the Torino Film Festival and was subsequently featured at Palm Springs ShortFest and FEST New Directors New Films.

Her latest short film, “SO THEY SAY” (2023), premiered at Palm Springs ShortFest, followed by screenings at the Telluride Film Festival, Hamptons Film Festival, PÖFF Shorts, among others. Additionally, she co-edited the short film “SOMBRAS NADA MÁS” (2023) directed by Kathy Mitrani, which premiered at the San Sebastián Film Festival in 2023.

She is currently developing her debut feature film, “A DECOROUS WOMAN,” produced by Parina Films, which has been featured in various markets and labs, including the Guadalajara Co-Production Meeting (Mexico), Ventana Sur, Nuevas Miradas, Bolivia Lab, and a writing residency in Madrid with the support of IBERMEDIA.

In addition, she has also taught Film Studies and Screenwriting at Columbia University. Currently, she mentors thesis film projects at Pontificia Universidad Católica in Chile.
